    The Park

The park is small, even for a pocket park. But due to the location, a short walk across from Mona Vale Hospital, we’re sure it is appreciated and is put to good use.

The equipment in the playground looks fairly new, and well-looked after. It consists of a combination unit with slide, rocker and single-bay swing set with two swings. The entire play space is covered in sand (a nice sensory element), and a grass kickabout space can be found next to the play space.

There are two bench sets to overlooking the play space, shaded by a mature tree. A thick coverage of native tree plantings (mostly eucalypts and casuarinas) around the park create a peaceful atmosphere during quieter visiting times.

The park is not fenced and is adjacent to busy roads, so supervision is critical.

If you’re in Mona Vale and need a larger space to blow off some energy, Apex Park, next to Mona Vale Beach is just up the road and is worth checking out!

It’s only a small park, but it has a cute and colourful play unit that’s inviting for younger children.
